Michael Pepe joined the firm in September 2008.
Mr. Pepe graduated from Georgetown University in 2003 with a B.A.
in Psychology and minors in Computer Science and Music. Mr. Pepe
earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law
in May 2008. He was admitted to the bar in the state of Connecticut
in October of that year.
While at the University of Connecticut Law School,
Mr. Pepe was honored as a Dean’s Scholar. Mr. Pepe was an
active member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board, both as a competitor
and serving as Executive Director. He was a finalist in the William
H. Hastie Moot Court Competition where he was awarded the prize
for the Best Oralist. Mr. Pepe also served as an Executive Editor
of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal, and captained the Mock
Trial Team at the University of Buffalo Mock Trial Competition.
Mr. Pepe was also instrumental in resurrecting the Italian-American
Law Students Association on campus.
Mr. Pepe represents owners, developers, designers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in his commercial and construction law practice, and franchisees in his franchise law practice.
Mr. Pepe is a member of numerous professional associations, including the New Haven County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Building Congress, and the American Bar Association.
