James Regan graduated cum laude from The George Washington University in 2003 with a B.A. in Political Science with a Public Policy Focus and a minor in History. Mr. Regan earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in May 2006. Mr. Regan joined the firm in September 2006 and was admitted to the bar in the state of Connecticut in October of 2006. Mr. Regan was admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in July of 2007.

Mr. Regan represents owners, developers, designers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in his commercial and construction law practice, and franchisees in his franchise law practice.

While at the University of Connecticut School of Law, Mr. Regan was honored as a Dean’s Scholar. He also received C.A.L.I. Excellence for the Future Awards for Class Performance in Fidelity & Surety and Moot Court. Mr. Regan was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as a Moot Court Teaching Assistant. As a member of the Moot Court Board, he represented the University at the Judge John R. Brown Moot Court Competition in Houston, TX, where he received the Fulbright & Jaworski LLP Prize for Best Newcomer. Mr. Regan also served as an Executive Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.

Mr. Regan has been involved in numerous charitable activities, and has been recognized for his contributions, including two Official Citations from the Connecticut General Assembly. Mr. Regan is a member of numerous professional associations, including the New Haven County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, Connecticut Building Congress, and the American Bar Association [Litigation Section, Forum on the Construction Industry and Forum on Franchising].
