Steven Kolodziej
earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut
in 1986, his M.S. in Industrial Management from Central Connecticut
State University in 1995, and his J.D. from Quinnipiac College School
of Law in 2000. At Quinnipiac he authored Prejudgment Interest
on Antitrust Treble Damages in Connecticut After Westport Taxi v.
Westport Transit District, 19 Quinnipiac L. Rev. 209, 2000,
served as Note and Casenote Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review
Association, and earned two Distinguished Academic Achievement
Awards.
Mr. Kolodziej
has served the construction industry in various roles. At O &
G Industries, Inc., ("O&G"), he served as Project
Engineer, Scheduling Engineer, Safety Engineer, and Superintendent
on local construction projects ranging from $2 million to $25 million
for the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation and private
developers. At O&G, Mr. Kolodziej managed the project schedule
and jobsite safety program on Lock and Dam No. 5 for the US Army
Corps of Engineers, a $110 million project in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mr. Kolodziej
practices construction law, drafts and negotiates multi-million
dollar construction contracts, files mechanics liens and applications
to reduce or discharge mechanics liens, makes demand on payment
bonds, and negotiates settlements.
Mr. Kolodziej
is a member of the New Haven County and Connecticut Bar Associations
and, a Director of the ACE Mentor Program of Connecticut.
