Our real estate practice encompasses all aspects of residential and commercial closings as well as litigation implicating property rights, including mechanic’s liens and foreclosures.

We advise and represent owner’s with respect to issues arising in the context of development projects, such as negotiation and preparation of contracts and leases for construction and occupancy, choice and creation of entities to hold and/or manage property, protection of property owner’s rights in eminent domain situations, negotiation and drafting of easements and other instruments necessary as part of the project development process.

We represent both private commercial and non-profit institutional clients in connection with significant development projects. Our knowledge and regular handling of complex construction matters gives us added depth in our representation with respect to development projects.

Property Tax Appeals

If you believe your property has been assessed at a value that is unfairly high, contact our office to review your case and discuss your options.  The appeals process has strict procedural requirements.  Understanding and complying with those requirements is vital to preserving your rights.  When appropriate we represent clients in the appeals process at the administrative level through court.

Land Title Dispute 

We work with title insurance companies, buyers, developers, and property owners to identify and resolve title discrepancies.  Our experience with real estate transactions and litigation brings experience from both areas to effectively identify and resolve title issues, including boundary line disputes, easements, adverse possession, and zoning matters.
